No Room for Idols

Whatever we place ahead of what God wants of us is an idol, be it behaviors, objects, or positions that demand our focus. Power, titles, money, pride, emotions, and beauty can all be idols. An idol reveals itself when, if threatened, it provokes anger, or if lost, causes despair. God loves us unconditionally and He wants us to love Him above all.
