2021 Land Rover Discovery review: This or the new Defender? - YesAuto

This is the facelifted 2021 Land Rover Discovery in new R Dynamic trim. As well as a series of sportier external changes, this P360 MHEV features one of the fresh mild hybrid engines. Its 3.0-litre turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine produces 355bhp and 500Nm of torque. That's enough for 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds – not bad for a large seven seat SUV.

The interior has also been refreshed and now hosts a large 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system. This Discovery will seat seven adults with good levels of space for all. Boot space is generous ranging from 258 litres with all seats in place, to 2,391 litre with them folded flat.

The new engine might deliver 26.5mpg and emit 238g/km CO2, but it doesn't restrict this 4x4's off-road ability. The new Land Rover Discovery starts from £53,090.
