How to make Stripe Candles (Painting blanks with acrylic!) super easy & quick

Hey everyone so in todays video i want to show you how easy it is to paint dinner candles. taking them from plain white dinner candles and diying them into stripe dinner candles in a matter of minutes. i kept seeing such gorgeous striped patterns on pinterest and in magazines this year so theyre definitely on trend and could be a super fun addition to your christmas decor this year in 2022.

You do want to take time in choosing the acrylic paint you use, making sure its non-toxic and water based so that when the candles burn they will burn well and not let off any toxic fumes etc. so please do your own research and only do this diy if you feel comfortable and confident in using the paint you choose.

i specially chose the pebeo studio acrylics paint to diy stripe candles myself but its completely down to you ofcourse,

my exact candles were ones from poundstretcher the better homes & gardens brand, as i wanted super long ones and not tapered towards the end. ikea have some fab ones, and supermarkets do also!
