A short video going over the most common things I am asked about skin on frame kayaks. The history and culture surrounding them is deep and complex so to not bore you I am trying to keep it short with plenty of rolling and paddling to keep you entertained (not to mention some bloopers).

Skin-on-frame kayaks (Qajaqs) were developed in the Arctic over hundreds if not thousands of years by various indigenous cultures. Each group built the kayaks to suit their needs which resulted in a wide variety of designs, each uniquely suited to its own home waters.
