ACID STAINING the CONCRETE Floor of the Barndominium

Concrete Acid Stain is A LOT of work, but very economical for a great looking finished concrete floor. We spent less than $600 for the 640 square feet of the barndominium first floor. That's less than $1 a square foot!! We used the Eagle brand concrete acid stain bought on Home Depot.com and used the deliver to store method with curb side pick up (during COVID-19).

I take you through all the steps it took to get a good looking stained concrete floor. I also reveal some great learning I had while making a few mistakes.

Key Points:
- Wash, Clean, Rinse, Wash the concrete again and again. Super important
- Etch it, do not skip this part. Do not use Muriatic acid as this is too harsh.
- Definitely do a test spot to make sure it is working as expected and looks right
- Take your time and do it right. No shortcuts. It is going to take days to go through every steps with the proper drying time between steps..
- Let the acid do its job. Let the sealer and polish do their job. The initial color will not be the expected color. Finish all the steps.
