I BROKE MY NAIL AGAIN!!! 😱😱😱

Hi everybody

In this video, I’m reconstructing my own poorly nail. Unfortunately I didn’t win a fight with a football.

I’m starting with cuticle work to clean up the edges, same as I would on a not-broken nail. I’m then going to run the bit across the edge of the break to abraise that free edge. I’m going to use a 240 grit file to remove the shine from the nail. I’ll clean everything off and then apply my sculpting form and my dehydrator and primer.

For the actual sculpt, I’m going to use clear powder, if your client doesn’t want to see it, then you can use natural or natural beige. I’m using clear so I can see if it’s growing and if there’s any issues and I’m putting a gel polish on top anyway so it will still look nice. I’m going to pinch the nail with my thumb and finger to put as little stress as possible on the nail. I’ll then file with a hand file in the same way I always do. I’ll buff and wipe over with acetone.

Finish with cuticle oil.
