NEMA halts illegal construction of multi-storeyed buildings in Kajjansi Wetland

The National Environment Management Authority has halted the construction of multi-storied buildings that were being erected illegally within Kajjansi Wetland in Wakiso District.
The structures are alleged to be owned by Dr Azah Taibu, Ismail Segujja and Arafat Muwonge who have been at the center of public debate on social media, with sections of the public questioning NEMA's consistency in enforcing environmental laws.
