TRIP REPORT | SAS [SAS Go] B737-800 & CRJ-900 OSL-CPH-BLQ | SK1461 & SK2683

After several months' absence, I'm finally back! Join me on my first trip in nearly five months, taking us from Oslo (Norway) to Bologna (Italy) via Copenhagen (Denmark) with SAS Scandinavian Airlines in SAS Go. Overall, a pretty enjoyable trip. The first flight was operated by a Boeing 737, and received a slight delay due to a loading issue. However this was eventually solved and we got on our way. Onboard, SAS has made some adjustments to stop the spread of Covid-19, including boarding/disembarkation by rows, the use of face masks being mandatory, and the absence of an onboard service.

Once at CPH, we were bussed to the passport control area for an identification check. The airport was rather quiet this morning, and here, unlike at OSL, face masks were mandatory. After a quick transfer, it was time to take a bus to the next aircraft; this time a CRJ-900. Just like on the previous flight, departure was slightly delayed; in this case because we had to wait for passengers arriving from Stockholm. Soon enough though, we pushed back and started our engines, and took off towards the south on this beautiful day. Despite the flight time of 2 hours, there was once again no service on board. Obviously I can understand that they want to reduce interactions, but not even serving a simple glass of water, even to SAS Plus passengers, is a joke! On a positive note, the crew were nice, the flight smooth and we had some quite nice views out of the window, especially of the Alps.
