AMAZING JAPAN VACATION! Tips for first time visitors

Konichiwa! We took a 2-week trip to Japan and loved it SO much, I just had to put together a video for all of you to share what we loved about it, and also to give you all our tips for how to enjoy YOUR Japan vacation.

For further reference, check out my Instagram Stories (@qkatie) from the trip, in Highlights.

Below is a list of the things we talk about:

Japan Rail (JR) Pass: http://japanrailpass.net/en/

(Don't eat food on public transportation -- the exception is the Shinkansen, the high speed train!)

-our favorite bites: tomago, onigiri, inarizushi (and ramen, of course)

PASMO card: https://www.japan-rail-pass.com/common-questions/pasmo-suica-card-usage-restrictions

PRO TIP: It's really expensive to take a cab into Tokyo from the airport!! Definitely worth it to take the train. (You can use your JR pass to do so. You'll just need to get it verified before you hop on the train).

You can get pocket WiFi at airport: https://www.globaladvancedcomm.com/pocketwifi.html
