Never Surrender

Belgium has a platoon of pathfinders as part of the Light Brigade. They are paracommandos which receive an extra pathfinder course at Schaffen. The Belgian pathfinders keep close ties with their Dutch and British counterparts, with which they perform joint exercises.

Who Dares Wins

The Special Forces Group is the special forces unit in the Land Component of the Belgian Armed Forces.

Members of the Special Forces Group are usually selected from the paracommando units of the Belgian Army. They must have at least three years experience in the military, preferably as a paracommando, to join the Special Forces Group.
