Škoda Superb MK2 Oil & Filters Service - No One Disagreed This Time

👋 Welcome back to Probably Not OEM. Today, we are stepping away from broken suspension bits and doing some standard daily maintenance on the Škoda Superb MK2. Just a routine oil and filters service.

Or at least, that was the plan.

While the actual oil change and engine filters went surprisingly well, the fuel filter decided to test my patience a little with some beautifully stripped bolt heads. Nothing a drill couldn't fix, tho.

And then came the software part. Resetting the service interval using OBD eleven (not sponsored tho, but feel free to contact me, hehe). Let’s just say... it became a bit of a software engineer’s skill issue.

You’ll see me:
- Drain some old, tired engine oil
- Swap out the oil, air, and cabin filters
- Drill out stripped fuel filter bolts (smoothly, for once)
- Wrestle with OBD eleven coding to clear a basic service reminder
- And wonder why a software guy struggled with a software reset.

Expect standard driveway wrenching, zero real drama for once, and a solid dose of IT-mechanic reality.
