In this video, we will be talking about the definition of rotor resistance error. This definition is based on the simplified equation of the electric torque near the synchronous speed. The rotor resistance error is defined as the relative error between the rotor resistance calculated by the analytic method and the rotor resistance calculated by the electric torque equation. if we want to have a good match between our analytic design and the FEA model, we should set the value of independent parameters in such a way that to keep the rotor resistance value as low as possible.
