Sargent’s Two Wineglasses

In this video I make a study of John Singer Sargent’s early painting Two Wineglasses made in 1874.
The study is done using a printout the same size as the canvas panel, approximately 10x12”. Oil colors used are: titanium white, cadmium yellow light, yellow ochre, cadmium red light, raw umber, and cobalt blue. My medium was linseed oil and the brushes are natural bristle.
