Here are 10 bodybuilders in the senior years of their lives that would put many people half their age to shame.

10. Rusty Jeffers (aka. Carl Hardwick)
Now in his mid-50s, Jeffers started bodybuilding at 12 and competed as early as at the age of 14. He won his first title at the age of 17 and won three years in a row in Teenage Arizona. He got his professional status in 2004 Masters National Championships.
9. Gunnar Paasche
A German bodybuilder who started off playing soccer, then entered competitions around 40. Sporting his trademark mustache, his biggest win came as the European Champion in the over 40 class. Recently qualifying for the World Championships Seniors & Juniors in Budapest.
8. Andreas Cahling
Known by some in the online sphere as the “real life master Roshi”, this over 60-year-old professional bodybuilder holds the title for winning the IFBB Mr. International title in 1980. His internet fame extends to his appearance as the ‘God of Thunder’ himself, Thor in the 2015 martial arts action comedy short film Kung Fury.
7. Sam Bryant Jr.
Sam ‘Sonny’ Bryant Jr. is a 73-years-old bodybuilder who’s rippling physique is a testimony to years-long hard work and dedicated commitment. He deadlifts 405 pounds at a body weight of 176 pounds. Sam started bodybuilding at the age of 44 years old as a coping mechanism to deal with his personal problems. At 70, he’s a bodybuilder at the same tier as others half his age.
6. Robby Robinson
also known as The Black Prince and Mr Lifestyle. He won various competitions including Mr America, IFBB Mr. World, Mr Universe, Masters Olympia, and other titles of the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness (IFBB), and appeared in several films (including the landmark docudrama Pumping Iron) over a 27-year career as a professional bodybuilder, retiring from competition in 2001 at the age of 55.
5. Raymond Moon
At 90, Ray Moon was considered the world's oldest competitive bodybuilders. Not one to be stopped by obstacles, he over came his battle with cancer and returned to the gym to keep on working for 10 more years.

At his milestone age, Richard Sullivan maintains his health and fitness later on in life, having an active lifestyle. The over 70s Sullivan now shares the formula to his physique. He credits his success over the years to his focus and ability to maintain the correct workout techniques.

Jim Arrington is the world’s oldest male bodybuilder from California, USA. He’s been training and competing in bodybuilding events for several decades and as of this year, is still currently active. Growing up as a sickly and slim child with a nickname “Skinny Bones”. Jim saw his life completely change once he discovered bodybuilding.
2. Dion Friedland
South African born Dion Friedland is an outstanding display of muscle at almost 80 years old. He won the bronze in the World Championships in 2013, and got a special award from the IFBB for being the oldest competitor.
