Zorn’s Dog Of Madame Rikoff

Who doesn’t love a good canine portrait? In this video I try to make a study of Anders Zorn’s portrait of ‘Charlie’. Zorn like so many great painters before him captured the appearances of his four legged sitters as deftly as he did their rich and powerful owners. Why didn’t I use Zorn’s four color palette? I will answer that question in an upcoming video where I’ll take a closer look at his famous Self Portrait with Model.

Thanks for watching:)
