Kilgore vs. Kurtz: What Apocalypse Now Is Really About (Film Analysis)
Apocalypse Now is one of the 10 best movies ever made. The greatness (and the message) of Apocalypse Now comes from two characters: Kilgore and Kurtz. Although these two characters never meet, their philosophical differences make up the biggest conflict of the film. In this video, I analyze Kilgore and Kurtz and also touch upon smaller elements of the film that help us understand the Kilgore v. Kurtz conflict. One element being The Roach.
