Building a fantasy story in the mail 📫 #dnd
✨ Join The Eledin Letters waitlist to step into an illustrated world when it launches ➡️ https://sendfox.com/harvathart
Take a peek behind the scenes of my creative journey as I meticulously pack each order for The Eledin Letters. This small business vlog captures the process of putting together every piece of handmade stationery, ensuring each snail mail delivery feels special. It's all part of being a cozy creator, bringing a touch of art to your mailbox through careful paper crafting.
Most people talk about their creative business ideas. I'm taking mine to D&D players and asking if they'd actually buy it. This video is my full process for testing a fantasy mail club idea with strangers at game stores, step by step, with real reactions.
I've been building toward The Eledin Letters: a monthly mail subscription where you get original art, a letter from a character in a fantasy world, and a vote that changes what happens next in the story. But before I spend months creating it, I needed to know if the people who already love fantasy storytelling would actually pay for it.
So I built a set of questions, walked into local game stores, and asked D&D and Magic players what they really thought. I'll be sharing what they said about the concept, the price, the voting system, and what would make it worth joining. Some loved it immediately. Some said it's too expensive. And one person raised a concern about the voting mechanic that made me completely rethink how it works.
If you've ever wondered what it would look like to validate a creative idea with your actual target audience before you build it, this video is my attempt to test it in real time, without skipping the awkward rejections, pricing concerns, or the late-night redesign sessions.

The plan moving forward
=============================
Phase 1 - May validation and discovery
I am treating May as a time to validate the idea of an art based mail club.
I will be testing whether this world, these characters, and this letter format actually resonate with real people before I commit to a full launch.
The goal is to listen, to iterate, and to see if this feels less like a marketing idea and more like a living story worth sending to someone’s mailbox and inbox.
Phase 2 - June to August building the world
Summer is where the real building happens.
I will be designing the visual language of Eledin, exploring styles, motifs, and symbols that make this world feel consistent, immersive, and alive.
Behind the scenes I will be building the writing and drawing routines, the production pipeline, and the quiet systems that make this mail club sustainable as an ongoing art practice, not just a one off project.
Phase 3 - September launch and first letter
September is launch month for The Eledin Letters.
The focus is on bringing everything together into a first wave of letters that feel like small art exhibitions in envelope form.
Each letter is part story, part artwork, and part invitation into a larger world that will keep unfolding over time.
If there is a specific part of the process you want me to go deeper on in a future video, let me know in the comments.
===========================
My mission with The Eledin Letters
=============================
My mission with The Eledin Letters is to explore what it actually takes to live a more intentional, creative life while still paying the bills, but to do it in a way that brings a real sense of awe and wonder back into my own life and the lives of the people who step into this world. I want these letters to feel like opening a portal, where ordinary days get interrupted by small moments of story, image, and meaning.
This 100 day challenge is my experiment in using discipline to create room for mystery. I am testing I really can grow a sustainable mail club in 100 days that still feels like an adventure each time a letter arrives.
===========================
Step into the world
=============================
If you're craving a corner of the internet that feels like a story instead of a scroll, The Eledin Letters is my attempt to build that space in public over the next 100 days. Think of it as an unfolding art project you can actually walk into, one letter at a time.
You are invited to join the waitlist, follow this series, and step into a world that is being made and discovered in real time.
