🔠 Fancy words I used:

Persistent - "This repetition may be building the sense that the rain is an activist of sorts, as it is being personified as someone persistent"

Meagre - "I think I can support a thesis statement that states the rain is shown to be a relatively calm, gentle presence but one that seems to be trying to use its meagre influence to affect the world in better way."

to Aid - "This is aided by the fact that the two lines use enjambment which may mirror the ongoing rain that falls and falls no matter where it is on the continent."

Squabbles - "Hence urging tyrants to remember our common humanity over petty squabbles."
