Weissmies (4017m) - Besteigung / Hochtour

Wunderschöne Tour auf den Weismiess (4017m) im Wallis am 22./23.7.2017. Bei traumhaftem Wetter konnten wir eine entspannte Tour auf dem leicht mit Neuschnee bedeckten Gletscher genießen. Der Berg ist mit PD- bewertet, allerdings wird der Aufstieg durch den steilen Gletscherbruch am Anfang wohl durch den Rückgang des Eises in den kommenden Jahren wesentlich heikler werden, aber das bleibt abzuwarten. Alles in allem eine traumhafte Hochtour mit grandiosem Rundumblick auf dem Gipfel:)

Wonderful tour on Weissmiess (4017m) in Wallis (Switzerland) on 22nd/23rd of July 2017. In wonderful weather conditions we could enjoy a nice tour on the slightly with snow covered glacier. The mountain is level PD- but the steep ascent on the lower part of the glacier is supposed to be getting more difficult over the next years because of the receiding ice. Still it was a super beautiful tour with a stunning view from the very top:)
