In this episode of Beyond The Tweezers, I’m joined by lash and brow artist Elle - best known as @LashElle on instagram. Elle opens up about one of the hardest decisions she’s ever had to make in her career.

After building her business around lash extensions, winning awards, and creating a loyal clientele, Elle began experiencing severe allergic reactions from her lash glue. What started as itchy skin and small rashes slowly turned into angry flare ups across her face and neck, affecting her physically and mentally.

After taking time away from lash extensions and seeing her skin completely clear, she realised the products she was working with every day were the cause. But when she returned to extensions, the reactions came straight back.

In February, Ellie made the brave decision to close her lash extension books for good.
