An Authentic CBL experience. Africa’s Sportman Magazine editor Stefan Fouche accompanies his friend Ronald Nel on a lion hunt with Tienie Bamberger from Warthog Safaris in the challenging Bushveld area of Lephalale in the Limpopo Province of South Africa.
They are looking for a lioness that is part of a sustainable group of lions on the Warthog Safaris hunting concesion in the Waterberg area of Limpopo. The hunt forms part of the bigger picture of the conservation success story in South Africa where game animals and land are in private ownership. This means owners manage the numbers on their property of all the different species and the most sustainable and feasible way is by means of legal hunting.
