2 dead, 2 hurt in high-speed rollover crash on SR 18 in Federal Way

All lanes of westbound State Route 18 were blocked for hours at Interstate 5 in Federal Way after a high-speed crash that killed two people and hurt two others.

WSDOT reported that westbound SR 18 had closed between I-5 and State Route 167, with westbound drivers diverted onto SR 167 as investigators looked into the crash.

According to Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Rick Johnson, just before 1 a.m., a WSP trooper running radar near SR 167 and SR 18 recorded the car was going just over 130 mph.
