EV Kia Connect with Navigation (Niro EV)

Kia Connect with Navigation Infotainment System is available on select Kia models.
The combination of Kia Connect with the Navigation Infotainment System puts a wide range of features and functions right at your fingertips.
In this video, we’ll provide an overview of what this EV’s infotainment system has to offer… and how to get the most out of it.
The HOME PAGE is designed to provide you with access to a wide range of features including EV menus and information…
And you can create PERSONALIZED PROFILES where you can add your name, a profile image, link your Kia Connect account to set your preferences and link your Bluetooth devices.
Go to USER PROFILE SETTINGS by pressing the image on the top left side of the screen.

On select EV models, you can set the SCHEDULED CHARGING and SCHEDULED CLIMATE or TARGET TEMPERATURE, which allow you to schedule charging times and interior temperature for your EV.

On the infotainment system screen, press the EV button or the VEHICLE image and you’ll see the Electric Vehicle home page…

To set the SCHEDULED CHARGING AND SCHEDULED CLIMATE or TARGET TEMPERATURE, you must first set your DEPARTURE TIME.
Press the NEXT DEPARTURE button and set the days and times.
From the EV home screen, press the SCHEDULED CHARGING AND CLIMATE button where you can adjust the settings.
To access other EV SETTINGS from the EV home screen, press the SETTINGS icon.

Here you can adjust:
MAXIMUM CHARGE …
CHARGING CURRENT …
And if equipped, WINTER MODE which helps to maintain charging performance …
And then UTILITY MODE…
You can also set the CHARGING CONNECTOR LOCKING MODE …
And CHARGING VOICE PROMPTS.
If equipped, here you can also set the SMART REGENERATION SYSTEM deceleration level.

Press SETUP…
VEHICLE to enter VEHICLE SETTINGS
Press ECO VEHICLE

Another feature you can adjust in VEHICLE SETTINGS is ACTIVE SOUND DESIGN that emits virtual driving sounds when the vehicle is moving.

You can adjust the settings for a variety of DRIVING ASSISTANCE features …
DRIVING CONVENIENCE ...
SMART CRUISE CONTROL …
FORWARD SAFETY …
SPEED LIMIT …
DRIVER ATTENTION WARNING …
LANE SAFETY …
PARKING SAFETY …
And BLIND-SPOT SAFETY.
These buttons allow you to adjust the WARNING VOLUME and WARNING TIMING.
Kia Connect with Navigation provides you with access to:

MAPS...
And in NAVIGATION, you have POINTS OF INTEREST as well as various PLACES, like finding your local gas station, or restaurant.
The SWITCHABLE CONTROLLER on the infotainment system panel allows you to toggle between the Climate Control system and the infotainment system controls.
Press and hold the CONTROL button to change the default mode that is displayed.
You can set the CUSTOM and MODE buttons to correspond to your frequently used features.
Press SETUP …
BUTTON …
Then select the button you want to customize.
You can switch the functions of the VOLUME and TUNE KNOBS from the BUTTON SETTINGS screen …
Select VOLUME/TUNE KNOB and press SWAP.

The Kia Connect with Navigation infotainment system also allows for over-the-air updates.
To access this feature, press SETUP …
And GENERAL …
Then SW INFO/UPDATE … then follow the on-screen instructions.
