As I always say, treatment plan and diagnosis is the most important part in any orthodontic treatment. When we have different options to solve a case I always ask me the question Why?
The WHY is always more important than How. We can be trained in the skills to execute a treatment plan but the most important part is the work we do first to arrive to good solution. To a good treatment plan
In this Class III case I had different options to solve the case:
Extraction
Distalization.
My option was premolar extraction because I Know that if I do molar distalization we are going to have also incisor proclamation due to the ACTION-REACTION EFFECT. And in this case I had severe recessions in lower incisors so I had to avoid to procline them.
