SANCTUARY 5 Artistic Meditations for Holy Week - DAY 5 (Friday 2 April 2021)

This is the last of 5 short broadcasts for the final days of Lent, produced by New Irish Arts. Each day features a short meditation from a different member of New Irish Arts, along with 2 pieces of music. The purpose is to create some reflective space during Holy Week at a time when many church buildings are not able to hold public services.

Each broadcast will last around 15-20 minutes but the styles will be slightly different, reflecting the diversity of personality and expression within the participants of New Irish Arts.

The music each day features members of New Irish Choir and Orchestra and New Irish Youth Choir - a mixture of archive videos and some new performances specially prepared for the series.
