Triangle Animation - Trigonometry Animation - 1S2A All Possible Triangles
Learning Trigonometry? Animations can help.
Two rotating rays, where the centre of rotation of the rays is a fixed distance. Or in other words, a triangle with one fixed side, aligned with the horizontal plane, and two given angles (note: if two angles are given then the third is known!) which are varied from 0-360 degrees.
Animation is a tool available for understanding mathematics. While solving problem sets is still important, animation is an additional resource to get your visual intuition working. For people who love to use their visual intuition, math animations teach you how one variable is related to another, and how one variable changes in response to changes of other variables. This gives you a head start for learning calculus.
While watching other people's animations is a good start, its best to learn to program yourself, so you can design your own animations. This allows you to zero in on the specific areas you are interested in or are having trouble with. Programming math animations is a good way to learn mathematics, and is a nice change from problem sets.
