This Fabric Is Dyed With Mud and Sun

This traditional fabric is dyed using one of the oldest techniques in southern China.

Silk is repeatedly dyed with natural plant dyes and dried under the sun. In the process, it is also treated with mineral-rich mud, creating a unique texture and deep color.

After the fabric is ready, traditional patterns inspired by ethnic brocade are added and the cloth is carefully sewn into clothing.
