Chicano Batman - Black Lipstick (Alt Intro + Credits)

This is an alternate version of the Black Lipstick music video that I made for Chicano Batman back in 2016.
The video is made up of somewhere around 2,000 individual cut outs of the band that I hand colored and cut out myself, with help from friends on occasion. Because so much went into the production of the video, I was worried that it would all go unnoticed and that people would think the video was made using some sort of video effect added in post, so I decided to shoot an intro that would make it obvious that the video was made with thousands of cutouts. This video is the result.
This version of the intro was made with the help of my good friend Richie Velazquez. He had some green sheets of poster board that we placed on the floor and I dumped a bunch of the cut outs on to them and slowly moved them around while Richie took all of the photos for the stop motion.
This video was never intended to be the final one, but rather as an example of a possible version that could be used. If selected, the text would be replaced with a more stylized version. Eventually the decision was made to go with the version everyone knows and this one stayed unlisted on my youtube account until now.
I wanted to share this video for the 5 year anniversary of the original release. It was my first music video and I'm very proud of it. I also wanted to share this video to give credit to those who helped me complete this project. This video would not be the same without the generous help of everyone listed at the end.
