Saving These Heels

A new patient comes in with severe calluses on her heels and the bottom of her feet. Years earlier she suffered multiple gun shot wounds in a robbery, including her head. She is doing well, but taking care of her own feet is very difficult. Recently, she struck up a conversation with a stranger at bus stop. The topic of feet came up. The stranger happened to be a patient of mine, and she recommended me.
