THE GENESIS SERIES — Episode 3: The Sin That Changed Human History | Our Lord's Studio | Bringing Scripture to Life
There was a voice in the garden that did not belong there.
It came from the most subtle of all the creatures God had made.
It asked a question designed not to seek truth — but to plant doubt:
"Did God actually say, 'You shall not eat of any tree in the garden'?"
And the oldest lie in history was spoken with confidence —
"You will not surely die."
She reached out. She took. She ate.
And in that quiet moment — something broke in the universe that had never been broken before.

This is Episode 3 of The Genesis Series — The Fall and the Promise.
The shame. The hiding. The question that has echoed through all of human history:
"Where are you?"
The judgment. The exile. The flaming sword sealing the gate of Eden forever.
And hidden in the curse — before the tears had dried — before the gate had fully closed — the most important promise ever spoken:
"He shall bruise your head."
The exile was not the end of the story.
It was the opening chapter of the greatest rescue mission in all of history.

📖 Scripture Reference: Genesis 3:1–24

A Word for Everyone Watching:
The most important sentence in Genesis 3 is not the sentence of judgment.
It is the sentence spoken to the serpent — before the gate was sealed — before Adam and Eve took their first steps outside the garden:
"He shall bruise your head."
One was coming.
Born of woman. Wounded in the battle. But ultimately victorious.
The exile from Eden was not the end of God's story with humanity.
It was the moment God announced — before the tears had dried — before the gate had fully closed — that the rescue mission had already begun.
And two thousand years later — on the first Easter morning — an empty tomb announced that the rescue was complete.
The Genesis Series and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ are the same story — separated by the length of human history — and united by the faithfulness of one God who never abandoned His people.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." 📖 John 3:16
