A GREAT FAMILY DAY OUT!

I brought company, as four of us tackled an easy hill in the east Lake District. Hallin Fell was my partner Chantelle's first Lake District hike and also her first Wainwright. Despite the fell's lowly height, the moment deserved its own video. For those who saw my vlog on Castle Crag, this vlog furthers the point that some of the lowliest summits provide the biggest payoffs when you reach the top. Hallin Fell was no different. This is a gently rising hill that you can take both your primary school aged children and your retired parents to the top of, so I hope this video sells it well as the great day out that it could be for you. Yes you!. Catch the Ullswater Steamer to add a whole different exciting, refreshing element to your day out and finish with a beer in the sun just like we did.
