Chicago Mini-TARP green infrastructure design project
This video describes a student design project to develop a parcel at South Lake Park Avenue and East Pershing Road in South Chicago into a green infrastructure community space including a trench and perforated pipe network with infiltration basin modeled after Chicago’s TARP (Tunnel and Reservoir Plan), an educational center utilizing green infrastructure technology, and a wetland construction of earthen structures such as vegetated swales and sedge meadows.
