Hildegard Lächert was a female guard, or Aufseherin, at nazi concentration camps. she served at Ravensbrück concentrationcamp, Majdanek concentration camp and Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp. She along with 40 other SS guards Alice Orlowski, Therese Brandl, Luise Danz and camp commandant SS nazi officer maximilian Grabner tried at the Auschwitz trial. she was convicted and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment. She was again put on trial in germany in 1975.
