House Build Ep.1; Huge Scissor Truss Fabrication

These gigantic scissor trusses are going in the house I'm building. We built 7 of these, and two smaller trusses with a simpler style for over the door ways. These things are huge. They span 25ft and rise 13ft, and weigh in at close to 1000lbs. These were a huge task, but it was a lot of fun to build them with my dad.

In all, it took 5000lbs of lumber, 700lbs of nuts and bolts, 1200lbs of steel plates, and full month of work to fabricate these.
