This facade and roof canopy was a design option for our group studio 8 project. I modeled it in Rhino and exported it into Revit. Our tutor liked it and we ended using it for the final design and documentation. If you'd like to see more videos on this project please let me know!

Why should you learn Revit AND Rhino?
Both Revit and Rhino are great for architects. But, they also have their shortcomings. Revit is great for project management and documentation, though it lacks design freedom and form generation. Rhinoceros 3D is perfect for free form generation and design freedom, but lacks that documentation capability. Merge Rhino and Revit together and you’ve got yourself the perfect architecture software package.
What will you learn in this 2 hour Revit and Rhino course?
You'll learn how to work between Rhino and Revit to design incredible buildings in Rhino and document them in Revit. The course has a major focus on designing in Rhino and bringing those designs into Revit. You'll learn basic to advanced Rhinoceros 3D commands, how to export from Revit in the correct file type for Rhino, and vice-versa. Additionally, the course has a focus on designing a waved fin façade for a multi-storey, real life project. You'll learn how to create a complex waved fin facade that looks great and can be replicated across projects.
