Get Started with Google Variable Fonts and the GeneratePress Font Library in WordPress
CSS and variable fonts can be a little tricky and overwhelming, but I recently found that I could get pretty far with the GeneratePress Font Library and pulling Google Fonts from their GitHub repositories. I was especially interested in optical sizes (the different "cuts" for various font sizes) and turns out that it's pretty easy to implement. Enjoy!
