Today's sudoku first appeared a couple of months ago on Logic Masters Germany and we've received a few recommendations to give it a try. It's by Cane_Puzzles and begs the question 'where have the bulbs gone on these thermometers?!'. Do give it a try at the link below:

Rules:
[NB This video seems to be taking a long time to encode into its HD version - apologies. Apparently this can happen sometimes with YouTube uploads and we seem to have to just be patient.]

Normal sudoku rules apply. In cages, digits must sum to the small clue in the top left corner of the cage. Digits cannot repeat within a cage. The digits on a line must increase from one end to the other.
