Brooklyn’s Beloved Thai American Diner
The story of Little Grenjai in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn begins when Sutathip “Pias” Aiemsaard and Trevor Lombaer matched on Tinder. Trevor, a line cook, was traveling through Thailand and matched with Pias, who grew up near Bangkok. The couple fell in love, got married, moved to Brooklyn, and opened a Thai restaurant focused on fresh and traditional ingredients. And the rest is history. Little Grenjai is known for its Krapow Smash Burger, and its take on Thai classics like Pad Thai and Khao Soi.
