5 Tips for Teardrop Door Installation

Installing your doors is pretty simple, but here are a few tips that will help you get the perfect fit

1. Dry fit your doors first to ensure a good fit, then apply butyl tape along the trim.
2. Use a 1/4" shim or the interior flange and center the door in the opening to get the spacing even all sides.
3. We like to alternate positions screwing in the door, similar to installing wheel in your car.
4. Install the vinyl insert around the door prior to the rain shield.
5. Pre-drill holes in the interior flange before installing.
