Hello guys. In this video, I bring to you a very nice city walk through the neighborhood of Prenzlauer Berg in Berlin. The Vibrant Prenzlauer Berg is home to creativity and a cosmopolitan lifestyle – as much in evidence in the many cafés and eateries around the Helmholtzplatz and Kollwitzplatz squares as in the wealth of independent boutiques and quirky shops where you can browse to your heart’s content. Oderberger Straße and Kastanienallee boulevard have long been a treasure trove for Berlin designer fashion and labels.

Pubs, countless restaurants, cafes, galleries, and stores create a nightlife atmosphere unmatched in the rest of Berlin. Along with Schöneberg and Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg is a focal point of Berlin's art scene. Along with Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg, it is also a popular neighborhood due to its student population.

Prenzlauer Berg is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Berlin, one of the most beautiful, still central, and quieter than Mitte. Much of Prenzlauer Berg escaped the damage of World War II and post-war reconstruction. Today Prenzlauer Berg offers trendy shopping with many street style designers.

Prenzlauer Berg has recently become a popular area for American and European immigrants to Berlin, many of whom are artists who have moved to the city in search of the cheap, central apartments and studio space that are very hard to find in other capitals and centers of the arts, such as New York, London, and Paris, but which are plentiful in Berlin. English conversations can be heard in the street cafes along Kastanienallee.

Kollwitzplatz and Helmholtzplatz have weekly street markets, and the brewers and ex-Kulturbrauerei Pfefferberg and Kastanienallee are hot spots of interest.
