$600 Joke: Ossoff Rips Congress For $600 Stimulus Checks, Promised Aid For Morris Brown If Elected

Georgia Senate candidate Jon Ossoff told supporters during a rally at Morris Brown College that Congress' $600 stimulus checks for Americans "is a joke".

Despite panning lawmakers on Capitol Hill, Ossoff said he would have voted for the bill despite its shortcomings.

While at Morris Brown, Ossoff promised support for the HBCU if he is elected saying, “I want to pledge to you, Mr. President, that as Georgia’s United States senator, I’ll be at your fingertips,” adding, “I’ll work tirelessly to deliver the resources that this institution needs, not just to get back to where it has been, but to achieve higher and higher heights.”
