For the 3rd week in a row! BONEY M.! The Hitmachine from Germany, the group can be satisfied. On the 3rd of May they received their awards during the Countdown Special, especially made with Boney M. A lot of Golden and Platinum records where waiting for the group. To be precise, Platinum for the LP Nightflight To Venus, which sold 100.000 items. A Platinum single for Rivers Of Babylon, more than 200.000 singles has been sold in the Benelux only! And 100.000 singles already has been sold of their latest Hit Single, Hooray! Hooray! It´s A Holi-Holiday. Another Golden Single! And because its a Number 1 Hit, they receive the Top40 Award as well.
