Upstream of this dam,a giant beam bridge named"Lianghekou dam bridge" is under construction,with more than 270m high,pier 172m tall, main span 220m,it will become the third highest beam bridge in the world, only behind Liuguanghe and Xixihe bridge.

两河口水电站位于四川甘孜藏族自治州雅江县，坝高295米，装机容量300万千瓦，2021年建成后是世界最高的混凝土堆石坝。坝址海拔近3000米，极其偏远闭塞，人迹罕至。这座大坝所用的石料体积是古埃及大金字塔的20倍。

大坝上游不远处在建设一座“两河口跨库大桥”为主跨220米梁桥，墩高172米，桥面高270余米。该视频30：40秒至36：40秒是该桥建设情况。这座桥建成后将成为仅次于六广河大桥与西溪河大桥的世界第三高梁桥。
