Footwork with Ramba

This is just a short video of one of the many foot training sessions we did with Ramba (an elephant in Chile). It goes with a blog about elephant foot care and how it impacts elephants in captivity http://www.sanctuaryforelephants.org/rambas-feet457/#more-2007 . This section of the video was chosen just to show her level of cooperation. She would put her foot down to rest, after having it up for a length of time, then put it right back up without being asked. She is a true gem and helps illustrate what is possible when you have a respectful and trusting relationship with an elephant.
