Creating a mailing list is important for bloggers, vloggers and crafters selling their arts and crafts. It allows you to directly reach your customers and update them of your new content or products. You can sign up for mine here: https://tinyletter.com/thefrugalcrafter

That bare-bones list service is perfect for me because I am not selling anything, just updating folks on new content and classes and I don't need the analytic reporting services that other companies offer.

If you need more features MailChimp looks to be the best value, I am not affiliated with them but I have played with an account there and it is pretty easy and if you are small business you can probably get by with the free account for quite a while until your business grows. Make sure you don't pester people with your emails and do not add people to your list without their permission. In my case I have people sign themselves up so I do not have to worry about that.
