Historical Alor Setar - A Must Visit 🇲🇾 #kedah #malaysia #travel vlog l

In all my years in Malaysia I have never been to Alor Setar, in fact on this trip It was a last minute decision, but what a decision. The simple fact is for visitors from the west all we ever hear about is KL, Melaka, Penang and Langkawi which is sad.

None of which would make my top three places and only one my top five. But we all have different things that we want from a trip. For me at my age. I don't need beaches or clubbing!
I like nice things to look at, good things to eat and somewhere I can walk around with ease.

My three has changed after this trip as Alor Setar bursts into the reckoning.
The great thing about my top three is they are all accessible by train from KL (by far the most comfortable and simple way to travel).
So, in no particular order. Alor Setar, Ipoh and Taiping.
