A Global Perspective on Supporting the Information Needs of Students

Both Canada and the United States experienced an increase in the number of international students during the period of 2022 and 2023. In 2023, each country hosted approximately one million international students, with the majority originating from developing nations.

In this webinar, we discussed how to ascertain potential differences and/or similarities in the information-seeking behavior and preferred resources of students from developing countries compared to those from developed countries. The panel shared their observations and experiences in assisting students with the aforementioned aspects.
