The process of eukaryotic transcription TERMINATION (in humans). I describe the two keys steps in termination - transcription termination and recycling of RNA polymerase II. Termination involves two major pathways in RNA polymerase II transcription termination - the CPSF pathway and the Intergrator (INT) pathway. These are based on polyadenylation and 3' box signals in the RNA.
