District 196 closed all schools Tuesday after a voicemail threatened several schools in Rosemount, Apple Valley and Eagan. The move affected dozens of schools and programs within the district as administrators cited multiple threats and said law enforcement is actively investigating. Eagan Police say they have not confirmed whether the threats are credible and have not ruled them out, urging patience as investigators continue. They emphasize they take all threats seriously, with the Eagan Police Department leading the probe. The closures come three months after similar threats prompted by social media led to closures in Districts 196 and 191, with a 16-year-old arrested in connection with those cases.
