Sometimes when we sew stuff using a sewing machine, they tend to get slippery. So, a way to fix them is by applying a piece of rubber band to the sewing machine to create some friction.
If you’re sewing something on a piece of towel and your needle struggles, you can apply a piece of a plastic bag on top. It will allow the needle to do its job easier, and then you can just remove from the thread by lifting it off.
Instead of putting needles on the fabric that you want to sew, you can put some paper clips instead. They will keep the fabric from wrinkling, and it won’t have any holes as it would have had if you placed needles.
If your thread keeps getting knots every time you sew, run it through a layer of soap. This will help it slide more easily.
